Moonset around 3am in the morning at Bow Lake in Banff National Park, Alberta. It was Day 2 of my trip and I got there around 11pm that night. It was covered with clouds, so I decided to stay for a nap and hoping the sky will clear up later. Woke up around 3 and the sky did clear up allowing me to capture the starry night sky therewith the entire Bow Lake frozen with snow covered on top of it. The moon was about to set behind the mountain on the right. And Orion is right in the middle above the mountain range.
My -7c sleeping bag was barely enough to handle the cold that night….. 😦
Thanks for your view! Will have more updates when I got good internet connection again!
