Taken back in April 2014 on a early morning after a snow storm. Light snow covering the surface of the Tufa at Mono Lake, California. Arriving Lee Vining the evening before, clouds was covering the sky and I was hoping to have some great light next morning when the sun rise. Woke up in the middle of the night and noticed the night sky was clear. I was so excited and don’t want to go back to sleep since it was my 3rd visit to Mono Lake hoping to shoot some starry night sky at the South Tufa. And finally have a chance to do so!
I quickly grab my camera and started shooting in the early morning, like 3:00AM… This is one of panorama I took with multiple shots. The final stitching was actually much wider than what you see here. But I decided to crop some of the portion out just to keep the framing look right. Or simply better….
Hope you like it and have a great weekend!!
And I’m adding a few old posted photos taken from the same early morning!
