Just got back from a trip to have a first taste of the Winter. I’ve heard about the first blanket of snow in the Canadian Rockies happen in October of each year. and that would be the best time to visit and photography the Canadian Rockies in white. So it was my very first time solo trip car camping in the cold. I didn’t expect it was that cold. Luckily I bought enough clothes and camping gear to kept myself warm.
But before I share some of the photo from the Canadian Rockies, I would like to share some of them on my way back to Vancouver as weather shifting from Winter back into Falls. And as title of the post said, A Blend of Seasons!

Website Updates
It have been a very very long time since last posted and it wasn’t because I haven’t been shooting much. I was just waiting for my new website get done and it is finally completed. Of course one of the big change is the photo galleries are now displaying with larger size and better quality so people can have a better viewing experience. Also everything you see there are now all available for prints!
On top of that, I added a few more categories under it. Waterscapes and Panorama were building up over time and now are finally have enough that can have their own page.
One more added was Road. Over the year, road trip has always been my main way of travel. And shooting the road is something I love doing. But it the past, I only posted a hand full of photos that are shooting the road. But I think it deserve it’s own page too!
Leave a comment and let me know of what you think!! 🙂

Deer Lake – Watch Season Change
Deer Lake is a lake in central Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. Deer Lake is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna and features a number of walking trails. These trails connect the lake and its surrounding forests and fields. Deer Lake Park offers a nice, flat, and easy walk that circles the lake and passes by a beach area. Video was captured over different seasons. And personally I think this park look best in Fall. What do you think? 😀

Grace Lake
Let’s keep the aerial flow going while we are staying home finding more and more things you wanted to do for years. This time is another aerial experience of a small lake called Grace Lake located near Harrison in British Columbia, Canada. There is a recreation site right next to the lake, it is small but very popular during the camping season and it even have a floating dock for fishing. To go from Vancouver, you can take the Highway 7 to Harrison Mills. Turn left onto Morris Valley Road and drive 11 km. Travel 0.15 km on the FSR and turn left at the entrance to Grace Lake Recreation Site.
Sunset Flight
A lovely sunset on the top of the mountain! Happy weekend!!
