A memorable night on the Opabin Plateau. While waiting for the moonset behind, the milky way starting to show right in front of us. Opabin Lake was as still as a mirror on this longest night of the year back in 2015. Will you sit in the dark wait for the beautiful dark night to come?
Fog and Patches
A foggy day can be very disappointing. But at the same time, it could be very rewarding. How do you like a foggy day with the mountains?
Emerald Expression
A cloudy morning at Emerald Lake. A long exposure shot of some stormy sky over Wapta Mountain gave the clouds a dramatic look while keep the water looks still and provided a good contrast of the beautiful view.
Storm Ahead
A rainy day driving on the Icefields Parkway.
Frozen River
Moon light behind lighten up mountains from the distance. Clouds were moving fast as the wind blow on the frozen river
Snow Bow
A winter day at Bow Lake.
Mirror In The Hole
A frozen pond in Kananaskis Country from a few weeks ago. Found the small reflection of the mountain top on the frozen lake.
Snow Dome Flow
A smoky sunset in late August, 2017 taken near Athabasca Glacier in Jasper National Park. Sun was about set behind Snow Dome with the river flowing strong in front. F-Stopped way down to be able to capture a half second shot for the water flow
Opabin Heaven
Happy New Year!! Opabin Plateau is my happy place if I can only pick one. Can’t wait to be back this year!
Morning Drama
2018 wasn’t a very active year for me. But it will be in 2019!
Looking back to this rainy morning at Lake Minnewanka. The rain comes and goes as I wasn’t having much hope when I got on the trails towards the cloudy sky. But soon after I took the first shot and realized it was a great chance for some photo opportunities and enjoyed very much on this lovely morning!
