Stormy weather comes and goes on the day I visited Peyto Lake last month. Making it a other worldly scenic!
Lights Behind
A great night for hiking and some dark night shooting. Have to get out more at night before the milky way season ends…
Rain Bow
Some said there is no bad weather, only inappropriate clothing. And if you don’t sit through the rain, you don’t get to see the rainbow. Lucky didn’t rain much during our hike. But was great witnessing this intense color rainbow above Simpson’s Num-Ti-Jah Lodge at Bow Lake
Force of the River
Spent about 2 weeks in the Rockies chasing some dark sky. This was taken from the first night arriving the Natural Bridge. The massive water flow sound was extremely loud at night with a mix of the train passed by from time to time
A Dark Coast Line
Taken back in May in the Canadian Rockies, and just a few days left before I head there again! Can’t wait for the road trip to begin!!
The Other Side of Two Jack
A cold morning at Two Jack Lake back in December, 2018. Love those extra foreground!
Minnewanka Arc
Finally find some time to catch up with processing images from this year. Still going through some of the snowy images from my US trip back in February. But while I was looking at all the image that was mostly covered with snow. I feels like I should jump into a more recent trip to the Rockies last month. This panorama was taken and combined with multiple vertical shots in order to capture to entire arc of the milky way just after twilight. And you can see the color blending from nautical twilight on the left into astronomical twilight on the right. Hope you enjoy it!
Catching Lights
Lovely morning in Banff back in 2016
Mount Wilson
Lovely sunset at the Saskatchewan River Crossing in Banff National Park
Panther Rainbow
A little rainbow from the water splash at Panther Falls in Banff National Park
