A new visit at a good old place in West Vancouver. Just about 35-40 minutes drive from downtown Vancouver. It is likely the closest location from the city that I am able to photographed the milky way. It is a bit of a faded gradient in the sky and the milky way due to the light pollution from Vancouver on the left side) and lights from the islands on the right side… But well… what do you expect? It’s a short drive from the city!!! People are just surprised it is possible to do so from here!!

Bear Glacier in British Columbia along Highway 37A
Zen Flights
It was amazing watching this man controlling 3 kites at the same time with both hands each and the third one tired to his waist. I was totally tripping into the path of the kites under this beautiful sunset!
Rushing Through
Wiwaxy Memory
A fine sunset at Wiwaxy Peak rewarding after a scary hike up few years ago. End up stayed overnight up at this location! Not a bad view to see the dark night!

Night Surprise
A great night shooting on the Opabin Plateau waiting for the milky way. Not until when I turn back and took photos of the opposite side and noticed the aurora is out dancing behind us while waiting for the milky way. It was late and tired at the time, but can’t help myself kept shooting under the the condition we had. Would you stay all night for it?
Emerald Expression
A cloudy morning at Emerald Lake. A long exposure shot of some stormy sky over Wapta Mountain gave the clouds a dramatic look while keep the water looks still and provided a good contrast of the beautiful view.
