Taken back in May in the Canadian Rockies, and just a few days left before I head there again! Can’t wait for the road trip to begin!!
Two Jack Night
A dark night in the Canadian Rockies. Hope you enjoy!
Core Of Jupiter
A well known location for astrophotography. Jupiter is shinning inside the galactic core and its reflection on the surface of the lake. Hope you enjoy! Have a good night!
Minnewanka Arc
Finally find some time to catch up with processing images from this year. Still going through some of the snowy images from my US trip back in February. But while I was looking at all the image that was mostly covered with snow. I feels like I should jump into a more recent trip to the Rockies last month. This panorama was taken and combined with multiple vertical shots in order to capture to entire arc of the milky way just after twilight. And you can see the color blending from nautical twilight on the left into astronomical twilight on the right. Hope you enjoy it!
Twilight Galaxy
Taken back in February, 2019 on my way down to Reno. It was the night when highway 80 in California was blocked for over 10 hours. Lucky I wasn’t taking that route to Reno. After a short sleep woke up around 5am and see half the sky was clear. This is just the road at twilight around 6:30am. Sure was a good stop! Hope you like it!
Galactic Runway
Starry night up on Hurricane Ridge in Washington State, USA
Tantalus Stargazing
Great night at the Tantalus Lookout on the Sea To Sky Highway Stargazing!!
Racetrack Playa Pano
Racetrack Playa is sure one of the darkest spot I’ve been. Spent a good 5 hours walking on the playa after sunset to moonrise. Searching for the Sailing rocks… Have you heard of the sailing rock? This was taken right before the moonrise where you can see the white light on the far left behind the mountain. And the first light just hit the tip of the mountain top on the right side as this was combined with multiple shots with a total of 300 degree viewing angle
Tantalus Lookout Night
Night at the Tantalus Lookout with some milky way action. Lights from Squamish lighten up The Stawamus Chief Mountain at the bottom left. Hope you enjoy!
Midnight Picnic
No food, just a picnic table under the beautiful night sky! 😀
Hope you enjoy!
