Single exposure shot of the pier at Porteau Cove. Although it is a place I shoot a lot at night time, but as the season change, locations of the night sky are different. The milky way were right behind the mountain on this night!
A night hiking in the dark in the beach passing through this forest. It was great that I have a habit of turning off my headlamp once in a while to checking out what the night sky was looking like. Otherwise, I should have missed this beautiful treeline view against the dark night sky!
Panoramic view of the milky way connected the sea to the sky. No wonder they called this highway the Sea To Sky highway (connecting Vancouver to Squamish). I believe many have seen this sea to sky view during the day. But have you seen the view there at night?
Driving on a dirt road up to a mountain viewpoint on the map. And after 40-45 minutes of bumpy road condition, my buddy and I found out it wasn’t much of a viewpoint likely because of the trees grow much taller after the viewpoint was setup at the first place. Although there wasn’t much of a view of an open area, we still got the amazing night sky!
