So I should have continues updating some of the post from the Rockies Trips.
No matter how many times you’ve been to Bow Lake. The beauty of it will never fail stopping you for a little while, or in some case a very very long time…
Athabasca Falls in Jasper National Park at twilight. The right time to shoot the waterfalls without the need of a ND filters! 🙂
The ever changing weather in the Canadian Rockies were so unpredictable. But when the good lights show its beauty, you might just have to stop. Even on the side of Highway 1 beside Castle Mountain! And not to mention how many times you need to stop on the Icefield Parkway.
And one of my favorite is Waterfowl Lake. Here are a few night shots from the night I stayed there.
I was pretty lucky to have a lot of clear sky at night, and overcast sky during the day like these one
Have to update on some of the images captured over the years since I was back to China back in 2015 and have left this site untouched until recently. Anyway, did a few trips to the Canadian Rockies including Banff, Jasper, and Waterton Lakes National Park. Here I would like to share some of them with you.
Moose Lake on a cloudy evening. This was taken on my way to Jasper with storm clouds approaching.
Few shots above captured along the Icefield Parkway on a cloudy morning
Moraine Lake on a cloudy afternoon
Sunwapta Falls in Jasper National Park. And it’s a half size of what you usually see when capturing this waterfalls.
Milky way above Lake O’Hara. The most iconic spot at this beautiful place. Moon was about to set behind me with the last bit of moon lights on Mount Huber and Glacier Peak in the middle. Aurora also decided to come out and play behind Wiwaxy Peak on the left towards the northern direction
Milky way above Mount Schaffer at Lake O’Hara, Yoho National Park, British Columbia. The last night I stayed at Lake O’Hara and I left the Lake O’Hara circut trail night hike on the very last night at I knew I’ll be super tired after three full days of hiking to different peak within the area. And it was a great choice as I didn’t went far on this very last night and have to call it the end of the night only around 2am 🙂
It was the last sunset I stayed at Yoho National Park back in June 2015. I spent the afternoon with my friend at Lake McArthur and have the whole area all to ourself. It was a beautiful and peaceful evening.
